Tanggungjawab

Responsible for assisting the Audit & Assurance Department function in order to ensure smooth running of day to day operation.

Strategic Direction

  • Leading and performing assigned audit engagement based on applicable financial reporting, audit and quality management standards.
  • Undertaking background research and identifying key stakeholders on the client’s business environment.
  • Preparing and monitoring budget to ensure audit is conducted within cost restraints.
  • Managing engagements and ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
  • Preparing adequate and appropriate working papers with proper audit procedures.
  • Identifying legislation, regulations, compliance issues and professional standards relating to audits.
  • Preparing an audit monitoring plan.
  • Supervising and reviewing work of subordinate in line with set objectives, independence, objectivity for final approval.
  • Resolving significant audit issues in consultation with relevant Audit Directors and Partners.
  • Analyzing business financial and non financial risks to the clients.
  • Keeping track of Account Receivable process.
  • Monitoring and evaluating audit against its objectives.
  • Monitoring progress and achievement of KPIs.
  • Promoting cultures of process improvement.
  • Establishing a professional service relationship with a client.
  • Preparation and submission of report as and when necessary

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or partly Professional qualification in Accounting or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years working experience in audit firm.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to work independently and complete job within timeline.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong technical knowledge on accounting standards (MFRS, IFRS and MPERS).
  • Able to travel within Malaysia from time to time and work on weekends if necessary.
  • Candidates with working knowledge of Audit Express software would have added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,300.00 - RM6,600.00 per month
