Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities on site to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, timeline, and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and site team to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Monitoring

• Supervise daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress according to project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and workers on site.
• Check workmanship quality.

2. Technical Coordination

• Review construction drawings and technical documents.
• Provide technical guidance to site team.
• Coordinate with consultants and project team on technical matters.
• Resolve technical issues on site.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure construction works comply with project specifications and standards.
• Carry out inspections and ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures.
• Report non-conformance and monitor corrective actions.

4. Safety Compliance

• Ensure site activities comply with safety regulations (CIDB & DOSH).
• Monitor safety practices and ensure workers follow safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents.

5. Progress Reporting

• Monitor and report site progress.
• Prepare daily or weekly site reports.
• Update Project Manager on project status and issues.
• Assist in site meetings and prepare reports.

6. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with Project Manager, Site Supervisor, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate materials delivery and site activities.
• Assist in ensuring smooth workflow on site.

7. Documentation

• Maintain proper site records and documentation.
• Ensure drawings and documents are updated.
• Assist in preparing method statements and reports.

Job RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Building or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in construction industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (for junior level).

Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction processes.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Willing to work on site.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
