JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Admin Clerk
Department: Administration
Reports To: General Admin Officer / Head of Administration

Job Summary

The Admin Clerk is responsible for performing basic clerical duties, managing document filing, and handling front desk operations to support the daily administrative functions of Rizq Educare Sdn Bhd.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front Desk Duties

  • Greet parents, students, and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the relevant person or department.
  • Receive payments, documents, and forms from parents or staff and pass them to the responsible officer.
  • Handle general walk-in inquiries and provide basic information when required.

2. Filing & Record Management

  • Perform proper filing of student records, administrative documents, and correspondence.
  • Ensure all files are updated, organized, and easy to retrieve.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all documents.
  • Assist in sorting, labeling, and archiving old records when required.

3. Clerical Support

  • Perform photocopying, scanning, printing, and basic data entry tasks.
  • Prepare simple letters, forms, or documents as instructed.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail, parcels, and internal documents.
  • Assist administrative staff with routine clerical work.

4. General Office Support

  • Ensure the front desk and filing area are neat and organized.
  • Monitor basic office stationery and inform the Admin Officer when stock is low.
  • Perform any other clerical duties assigned by the General Admin Officer or Management.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior clerical or front desk experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
