About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Design & Drafter to join the design team at Ali Bina Group Sdn. Bhd., a leading architecture and construction company based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for producing visually engaging and technically precise design solutions to support our diverse range of architectural and construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Collaborate with architects, project managers and clients to understand design requirements and develop innovative concepts

2. Prepare detailed drawings, sketches, and renderings using CAD software and other design tools

3. Ensure design plans adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

4. Assist with the preparation of presentations and proposals for clients

5. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, software, and industry best practices

6. Provide support and guidance to junior designers as needed

What we're looking for

1. Degree, diploma or sijil in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

2. Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the architecture or construction industry

3. Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and other design tools

4. Strong technical drawing and 3D modelling skills

5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

6. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

7. Passion for creating visually striking and functional designs

8. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
