Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data marts to support business analytics and reporting needs
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using scalable data processing frameworks
• Translate business requirements into dimensional models (star/snowflake schemas)
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across datasets
• Optimize query performance and data storage for efficient downstream consumption
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) to deliver actionable datasets
• Work closely with Data Analysts and BI teams to enable self-service analytics
• Implement data governance, documentation, and best practices across the data layer
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and data issues

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in data mart / data warehouse modeling (Kimball methodology preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, PySpark)
• Solid experience in AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda – depending on stack)
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Understanding of data partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning
• Demonstrates the ability and mindset to leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency, productivity, and quality, while continuously exploring new ways to enhance business impact.

Nice to have

• Practical experience in defining and enforcing data security rules (e.g., data classification, access control policies, masking strategies, audit mechanisms
