Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review project specifications.
  • Liaise with engineering team members to ascertain project requirements.
  • Create compliant Piping specs within 3D model hierarchy.
  • Review Piping ISO’s.
  • Review Piping BoM’s (Pipe schedules, materials, flanges, gaskets and bolting).
  • Piping material catalogue check for E3D
  • Assist layout team on 3D modelling design.
  • Attend Design Reviews – with Client and/or Peers.
  • Take an active role in IDC with other Engineering disciplines.
  • Be responsible for review, checking and approval of peers and subordinates work in piping engineering work.
  • Be Package responsible engineer for manual valves, piping special items. Preparing data sheets, RFQ, TC, TBE for these packages.
  • Review completed work to ensure accuracy, non-ambiguity and conformity to specification.
  • Carry out assigned duties within given timescales.
  • Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
  • Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
  • Be fully aware of personal workload in order to plan, organise and prioritise workload to ensure all document submission/issue dates required by contracts are maintained.
  • Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
  • Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are always in full compliance.
  • Review bid documentation and give input to tender team regarding pricing, scope and planning.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
