We are looking for a passionate and disciplined Commis Pastry Chef to join our pastry team.

At KLCG, we bake fresh daily. Quality, teamwork, and standards matter more than speed alone.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production of breads, viennoiseries, pastries, cakes, and desserts
• Follow recipes and SOPs accurately to ensure consistency and quality
• Support dough preparation, lamination, baking, finishing, and plating
• Handle ingredient scaling, preparation, and proper storage (FIFO)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation at all times
• Monitor product quality and minimize wastage
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks
• Work closely with the team to ensure timely service and production flow

Requirements

• Basic pastry/baking knowledge or relevant kitchen experience
• Fresh graduates from culinary/pastry school are welcome
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication
• Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to work weekends and public holidays

Working Hours

• Five Days Work Week
• 9 Hours Shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
