Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of the company's truck and trailer fleet. This role involves planning preventive maintenance schedules, supervising workshop personnel, monitoring vehicle conditions, and ensuring all fleet units remain safe, roadworthy, and operational with minimum downtime.
The successful candidate will also act as the key coordinator between the workshop, operations team, and management to ensure maintenance and repair activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance and repair works for trucks and trailers
- Plan and manage preventive maintenance (PM)schedules for all fleet vehicles
- Monitor vehicle conditions and ensure fleed roadworthiness
- Handle breakdowns, repair coordination, and emergency maintenance matters
- Supervise workshop personnel including foreman, mechanics, and tyreman
- Monitor and control spare parts, tyres, and workshop consumable usage
- Prepare maintenance reports, repair history records, and downtime reports for management
- Coordinate PUSPAKOM inspection preparation and compliance matters
- Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping, and SOP compliance at all times
Education Requirement:
- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Automotive, Mechanical, Heavy Vehicle, or related field
- (Bonus) Certification related to fleet maintenance, workshop management, or safety
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge in diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulic systems, and 24V electrical wiring
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership in managing workshop manpower
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules and control fleet downtime
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reporting & maintenance records)
- Able to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdown situations
- Disciplined, firm, and capable of enforcing workshop SOP compliance
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in heavy vehicle / fleet maintenance
- Experience managing workshop teams is REQUIRED
- Experience in truck / trailer fleet operations is an advantage
- Hands-on experience in breakdown handling and repair coordination
Other Requirements:
- Willing to work extended hours / on-call when required
- Responsible, committed, and professional working attitude
- Able to provide clear and effective instructions to the team
- Strong reporting attitude with timely and accurate updates to management

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
