Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory trials, testing, and development of new products or improvement of existing formulations.
• Prepare samples, prototypes, and document all test procedures and results accurately.
• Collect, analyse, and report experimental data for internal review.
• Support product scale-up from lab to pilot plant and production.
• Troubleshoot issues related to product development and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, safety procedures, and company regulations.
• Support project management from customer enquiry to product launch, ensuring timelines are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet product requirements and specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements for product and process optimisation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, Regulatory Affairs, or any related field.
• Over 2-6 years proven track record in R&D/Product Development/Application Specialist of food industry (specialized in manufacturing plant).
• Preferable working experience in the dairy industry and SAP exposure would be an added advantage.
• Technical skill(s): Well knowledge in food production and processing, and knowledge of food safety standards/certifications (FSSC, ISO, HACCP, GMP, Halal, etc) is an added advantage.
• Understand food science applications, sensory principles, nutrition, and labelling requirements.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
