The Opportunity:
The incumbent provides engineering support by managing all services, preparing specifications for Request For Proposals/Invitation To Quote (RFP/ITQ), RFP/ITQ evaluation and commissioning of new medical equipment, breakdown and preventive maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment, managing teams and building the competency of staff.
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent provides engineering support by managing all services, preparing specifications for Request For Proposals/Invitation To Quote (RFP/ITQ), RFP/ITQ evaluation and commissioning of new medical equipment, breakdown and preventive maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment, managing teams and building the competency of staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan commisionning, preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
- Formulate and review calibration and preventive maintenance protocols.
- Ensure smooth implementation of the preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
- Liaise and manage external contractors on service matters and contractual issues.
- Assess medical equipment put up for condemnation by end-users
- Degree in Electronics or relevant Engineering course with at least 10 years of experience in service and maintenance of medical equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
