About the role

K.K.I.P. SDN. BHD' is seeking a talented Finance Executive to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Sepanggar Sabah and will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. If you have strong experience in accounting operations and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  1. Validate, code, and process supplier/vendor invoices in the Financial Information System (FIS).

  2. Prepare and post Payment Vouchers (PV) and Journal Vouchers (JV).

  3. Monitor payment schedules, online banking transactions, and supplier ageing reports.

  4. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and internal departments on payment matters.

  5. Perform creditor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  6. Handle petty cash transactions, cash advances, and monthly cash counts.

  7. Maintain records and payment listings for local authorities and statutory payments.

  8. Support audit preparations and provide accurate AP information to auditors.

  9. Ensure compliance with SST, e-Invoice requirements, and internal control procedures.

  10. Maintain proper filing, scanning, and documentation of Accounts Payable records.

  11. Assist in Accounts Payable transactions for subsidiaries and joint venture companies.

What we're looking for

  1. 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable

  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  3. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications

  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  6. Formal accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
