About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive Operation Officer to join our Group Procurement team. This role is vital to our newly established Scrap and Scheduled Waste operation. You will be the "eyes and ears" on the ground, ensuring that scrap disposal across our regional offices is handled with integrity and efficiency

• Field Verification: Travel to regional offices across West Malaysia to physically verify scrap disposal and collection processes.

• Compliance & Auditing: Conduct random checks at various Business Units to ensure strict adherence to Group Procurement policies and scrap compliance.

• Operational Coordination: Act as the key liaison between internal departments and appointed contractors to manage collection schedules.

• Data Management: Handle accurate data entry of disposal reports following site verifications.

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify and coordinate with scrap dealers and waste management providers to optimize disposal outcomes.

• Any other adhoc tasks.

• Diploma in any discipline OR equivalent.

• Open to Fresh Graduates or those with 1-2 years of working experience.

• Basic knowledge of general disposal processes and a cost-saving mindset.

• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication/negotiation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

• Must be willing and able to travel outstation to regional offices for site operations (around 1-2 times/ month, company car provided based on travelling request).
