About the role

Yew Sing Trading & Transport Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent and organised Storekeeper to join our warehouse team in Senai, Johor. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory management and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution facility. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Maintain accurate records of stock in the inventory system.

• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Monitor inventory levels and provide timely reports of shortages, surpluses, or slow-moving items.

• Receive incoming goods, verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.

• Record all stock movements promptly in the inventory system.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

What we're looking for

1. At least experienced as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehousing/logistics role

2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records

3. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications

4. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

5. Physically able to perform manual handling tasks

6. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines
