1. Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent. Certification in Agriculture, Quality Control, or a related field is an advantage.

• Experience: Prior experience working in a palm oil mill, agricultural reception site, or a quality inspection role is highly preferred. Fresh graduates with a keen willingness to learn may be considered.

2. Technical Skills & Competencies

• FFB Quality Assessment: Strong knowledge of oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) maturity standards, specifically the ability to accurately distinguish between ripe, underripe, unripened, overripe, and rotten bunches.

• Digital Literacy: Ability to comfortably operate handheld digital devices (PDAs, mobile scanners, and portable printers) for data entry and receipt generation.

• Basic Documentation: Ability to accurately fill out physical forms (Sample Forms) and maintain neat, legible records.

3. Physical & Operational Requirements

• Physical Fitness: Ability to work in a mill/loading ramp environment, which involves standing for long periods, walking on uneven surfaces, and manual handling (shoveling/leveling fruit bunches).

• Safety Adherence: Strict commitment to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to occupational safety and health (OSH) policies.

• Shift Readiness: Willingness to work in shifts, overtime, or during peak crop seasons as dictated by mill management.

4. Soft Skills & Professional Attributes

• Integrity:Absolute commitment to ethical grading practices by upholding theI.N.T.I core values (Impartial/Neutral, Neutral, Transparent, Independent) against external supplier pressures.

• Compliance & Discipline: A strong sense of discipline to follow operational manuals and instructions from supervisors, mill management, and HQ purchasing departments.

• Grading fresh fruit bunches (FFB) received at the mill.

• Ensuring FFB is leveled out before the grading process is carried out.

• Verifying and separating underripe (muda) and rotten (busuk) bunches.

• Taking initial FFB samples from external suppliers and completing the "Sample Form".

• Recording and keying in data into the PDA and printing grading receipts.

• Wearing the provided MQI uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Reporting any damage to the PDA and work equipment to the AQS / Quality Supervisor.

• Consistently practicing "I.N.T.I" principles (Neutral, Transparent, Independent).

• Complying with all regulations stipulated in the FFB Grading Operations Manual.

• Adhering to instructions from the mill management and FFB Buying Department at all times.
