Job Purpose
To execute and support electrical and instrumentation engineering activities under EPCIC project delivery, ensuring compliance with project requirements, constructability, and safe execution across engineering, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute detailed electrical and instrumentation engineering activities under EPCIC project delivery
- Develop and produce engineering deliverables in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards
- Support fabrication and construction activities for modular / skid-mounted systems from an engineering execution perspective
- Ensure all design outputs are constructible, installable, and suitable for commissioning and operational readiness
- Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams to ensure design integration, interface alignment, and constructability
- Provide technical support throughout procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning phases
- Resolve technical issues arising during engineering development and site execution
- Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and commissioning activities
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, including as-built drawings and final project deliverables
- Interface with client / PMT for technical clarifications, approvals, and resolution of engineering comments
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and HSE requirements throughout execution
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control & Automation, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in EPC or EPCIC oil & gas projects
- Experience in modular, skid-mounted, or packaged equipment projects is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and instrumentation engineering systems within oil & gas projects
- Ability to interpret and develop engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with international codes, standards, and engineering practices applicable to oil & gas projects
- Experience working in contractor or vendor environments with exposure to client-facing coordination
- Good understanding of fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in fast-track project environments
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multi-discipline engineering teams
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple technical deliverables simultaneously
