Job Description

Dmonte SS26 is looking for a caring, responsible, and hardworking Assistant Teacher to join our preschool team. The successful candidate will assist teachers in daily classroom operations, support children's learning and personal care needs, and help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for all children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Change diapers and assist children with toileting, hygiene, and personal care needs.
• Supervise children during lessons, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom resources when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, toys, learning materials, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and designated school areas.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and cleaning after meals when necessary.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist during school events, celebrations, field trips, and special activities.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Carry out other duties related to the Assistant Teacher position as assigned by the Principal or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education is an advantage but not required.
• Loves working with young children.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and hardworking.
• Comfortable handling diaper changing and children's personal care needs.
• Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Salary

RM1, 700 per month

Working hours
