Position: Marketing & Sales Executive
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and result-driven Marketing & Sales Executive to independently manage and execute all marketing and retail event activities from planning to completion. This role requires a highly organized individual who is able to handle end-to-end marketing operations, coordinate retail campaigns, and drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies and on-ground activations.
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, multitask efficiently, and take full ownership of projects from A–Z.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute monthly and yearly marketing plans aligned with company sales targets and business objectives.
- Plan promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, retail fairs, and branding activities.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities and trends.
- Prepare marketing proposals, campaign calendars, and budget planning.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and prepare reports for management.
Retail Event Management
- Fully manage retail events, roadshows, fairs, and promotional setups from planning until completion.
- Coordinate event logistics, manpower arrangements, stock preparation, transportation, and setup requirements.
- Liaise with shopping malls, retail outlets, suppliers, and external vendors regarding event requirements.
- Ensure all event materials, display items, pricing, and promotional tools are properly prepared.
- Monitor event performance and sales during campaigns.
Sales & Business Development
- Support company sales growth through marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain good relationships with retail partners, customers, and event organizers.
- Follow up on sales opportunities, promotional collaborations, and retail inquiries.
- Monitor sales performance during promotions and provide improvement suggestions.
Branding & Content Coordination
- Coordinate promotional materials including posters, banners, social media content, and advertisements.
- Work closely with media/design teams for campaign execution and branding consistency.
- Ensure all marketing materials follow company branding guidelines.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Prepare reports, documentation, and event-related paperwork.
- Manage marketing inventory and promotional materials.
- Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and external parties.
- Handle urgent tasks and last-minute arrangements when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in marketing, retail events, sales, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Creative, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel and work during weekends/public holidays when required for events.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Experience in retail, fairs, roadshows, or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
