Job Title: Infrastructure & Network Engineer

Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Infrastructure & Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure and network environments.
This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with hands-on experience in network administration, infrastructure operations, security, and cloud or hybrid environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems, while supporting ongoing infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and other network/security appliances
- Support and maintain infrastructure systems including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, and endpoint connectivity
- Monitor network and infrastructure performance, availability, and utilization to ensure optimal operation
- Perform incident diagnosis, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of infrastructure and network-related issues
- Implement and maintain network security controls, firewall policies, access control, segmentation, and vulnerability remediation
- Support system upgrades, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Participate in infrastructure projects such as network migration, expansion, cloud integration, office setup, and system deployment
- Maintain accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, configurations, asset records, and change logs
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and project execution
- Support infrastructure automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives where applicable
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and network engineering
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, STP, ACL, routing, switching
- Firewall, VPN, wireless networking, and network segmentation
- Windows Server / Linux administration
- Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
Hands-on experience with vendors:
- Huawei
- Cisco
- Fortinet
- HPE / Aruba
- Juniper (preferred / added advantage)
Huawei-specific exposure (advantage):
- Huawei routers and switches
- Huawei firewalls
- Huawei WLAN / access points
- Huawei CloudEngine / NetEngine / eSight platforms (where applicable)
Cloud / Hybrid environments:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Monitoring tools:
- PRTG
- Zabbix
- SolarWinds or similar
Automation / scripting (added advantage):
- PowerShell
- Python
- Bash
- Ansible
Other knowledge:
- IT security best practices
- Access control, backup, and disaster recovery concepts

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will have an added advantage:
