About AnyGold

AnyGold Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing gold trading and buyback business based in Sungei Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang, KL. We handle gold buyback, pre-loved gold retail and wholesale dealing. As the business grows, we are building out our back office and looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, with supporting responsibilities across HR and admin.

The Role

This is an accounting-focused role with supplementary HR and admin responsibilities. You will own our daily books and reporting and help keep the back office running smoothly. You will work closely with the founders and the operations team. If you are organised, reliable, and want a role with real ownership in a growing company, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities — Accounting (primary)

  • Maintain daily accounting entries and the company cash book
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure cash book and bank balances tally
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and profit and loss reports
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, and expense claims
  • Track related sub-accounts and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded
  • Keep our in-house transaction system updated and accurate
  • Support audit preparation and statutory compliance

Key Responsibilities — HR and Admin (supplementary)

  • Process monthly payroll, including EPF, SOCSO, and PCB
  • Maintain staff leave records and attendance
  • Handle onboarding and employee documentation for new hires
  • General office administration and procurement

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, able to handle a full set of accounts independently
  • Familiar with accounting software (AutoCount, SQL Accounting, Sage UBS or similar) and comfortable learning new systems
  • Working knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, SST)
  • Exposure to HR or payroll work is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, well organised, and able to work independently
  • Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential financial information
  • Able to work on-site at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur

Professional qualification progress such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA is a bonus but not required. We value hands-on experience and reliability over certificates.
