Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of culinary experience
  • At least 3–4 years’ experience as Chef de Cuisine or in a similar role
  • Experience in premium hospitality, cruise, hotel, or high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Good knowledge of Public Health, sanitation, food safety, and kitchen operations
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Previous cruise industry experience is an advantage

Tanggungjawab

Viking is looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine to manage the assigned galley and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations, excellent food quality, and high service standards onboard.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
  • Ensure menus, recipes, hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are followed
  • Lead, train, and support a multi-cultural culinary team
  • Manage food requisitions, inventory checks, and kitchen readiness before service
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and service team to maintain guest satisfaction
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation, and take action when standards are not met
