Job Overview
We are a footwear brand seeking reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Assistants to support a short-term stock quality inspection project. The role involves handling existing inventory, opening shoeboxes, and conducting detailed checks on footwear for any quality issues.
There may be an opportunity to extend the contract for candidates who perform well, to support ongoing daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Open and handle shoeboxes carefully to inspect contents
Conduct thorough quality checks on each pair of shoes (e.g., defects, damages, inconsistencies)
Repack items neatly after inspection
Support warehouse staff with daily operational tasks
Assist with packing existing stock
Record findings and updating packing lists accordingly using Microsoft tools (Excel)
Requirements
Commit to work from 15 June 2026 - 26 June 2026.
Working hours: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 4:00pm (inclusive of 45 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Physically fit and able to carry boxes weighing up to 15kg
Detail-oriented with good observational skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully
Prior warehouse or quality inspection experience is an advantage (but not mandatory)
Additional Information
This is a temporary, project-based role
Candidates should be able to commit for the full duration of the assignment
Potential opportunity for contract extension into regular warehouse operations based on performance
