Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Layout Designer role based in the Kota Bharu, Malaysia Metropolitan Area. The Store Layout Designer will be responsible for planning and optimizing store floor layouts to improve customer flow, product visibility, and overall shopping experience. Daily tasks include developing and updating store layout plans, coordinating product placement by category, and ensuring logical and accessible arrangements for families and caregivers. The role involves working closely with store management, merchandising, and operations teams to implement layout changes and seasonal displays. The Store Layout Designer will also conduct on-site observations, analyze customer traffic patterns, and recommend improvements that align with brand standards, safety guidelines, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Layout Design and Page Layout for retail or commercial spaces, with a focus on functional and visually appealing store environments.
• Familiarity with IC Layout and Cadence or similar design tools, and the ability to apply structured layout principles to physical store planning.
• Understanding of Analog layout concepts or spatial planning techniques that support intuitive customer navigation and product organization.
• Experience in retail store planning, visual merchandising, or interior design is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to interpret floor plans and technical drawings.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional store teams on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple layout projects, meet deadlines, and adapt designs based on feedback and store performance data.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, or a related field is an advantage.
