Role Description The Takaful Unit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Damansara, responsible for leading and developing a team of Takaful Consultants to achieve sales and service targets. This role involves planning and executing daily sales activities, coaching team members on Takaful products, and ensuring adherence to Shariah-compliant practices and company guidelines. The Takaful Unit Manager will monitor performance metrics, conduct regular sales reviews, and implement strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include overseeing prospecting and client acquisition, guiding the team through the sales cycle, and supporting after-sales service and policy maintenance. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders on campaigns, reporting progress to management, and organizing training or meetings to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills to guide and motivate a sales unit.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or financial services, ideally within Takaful or insurance.
  • Solid understanding of Takaful principles, Shariah-compliant financial products, and basic financial planning concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and team members.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to track performance, interpret sales data, and plan daily activities.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Damansara and adapt to a performance-driven, target-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Takaful, insurance, or financial advisory are an advantage.
