About the role

Gabungan AQRS Berhad is seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position based in Selangor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems of our construction projects, ensuring they are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing, planning, and coordinating mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical wiring
2. Monitoring the progress of M&E work and ensuring it is completed within budget and to schedule
3. Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
4. Inspecting and testing M&E systems to identify and resolve any issues or defects
5. Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
7. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all M&E activities

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience as an M&E Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
3. Proven track record of successfully managing the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues
5. Strong project management and coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
6. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
7. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
8. Effective communication skills to collaborate with the construction team and clients
