Environmental Science Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible, proactive, and committed individual to join our team as a Geologist.

Job Functions

• Conduct geological investigations, field mapping, sampling, and site assessments for environmental and development projects.
• Prepare geological reports, technical documentation, data interpretation, and related submissions.
• Assist in geotechnical studies, soil and rock investigations, slope assessments, and environmental-related studies.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, laboratories, local authorities, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Attend site visits, technical meetings, inspections, and fieldwork activities as required.
• Monitor project progress, field data collection, and ensure compliance with technical and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety protocols, and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with environmental, engineering, and technical teams for integrated project development.
• Maintain proper records, reports, and documentation related to geological works and findings.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Earth Science, or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Working experience in geological consultancy, geotechnical, environmental, or related field will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, coordination, and report writing skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with geological mapping, field investigation, and reporting procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge in GIS, AutoCAD, or geological software will be an added advantage
• Possess own transport and willing to travel and conduct fieldwork when required

• Salary Range: RM3,000 – RM4,000
