Job Summary / Purpose:

Technician under Production department is responsible to preform production tasks to produce outputs as per requirements and standards defined by supervisor, engineer and manager.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assembly, building, fixing, testing, buy-off, and packing machines, components, parts and accessories, in industrial equipment manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform machine components assembly tasks
• Perform manufacturing tasks to assemble machine
• Perform preparation tasks to ensure materials are available for production processes
• Assist on machine alignment, accuracy and verification
• Perform 5S tasks to maintain and organize production environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects
• Assist on testing, data collection, data analysis and prepare report
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues with product, machine and equipment
• Assist engineer to perform engineering tasks
• Work with internal stakeholders to prepare production plan for meeting products delivery timeline.
• Execute production improvement projects.
• Responsible for production KPIs, and take necessary action to drive improvements.
• Timely reporting to related stakeholders on processes and activity status, initiatives status, challenges, and risks to ensure effective management of activities.
• Monitor and proactively resolve production related issues and address potential risks that may impact the quality, cost, and delivery of products with effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, QA and management to resolve issues relating to production.

Academic and Trades Qualification:

• Minimum Malaysia Skills Certificate Level 3 (SKM3).
• Diploma in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Work Experience and Skills:

• 1 year of experience in the manufacturing environment is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
