About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our passionate team at Essential Care Centre SDN. BHD. As our Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients, equipment, and supplies. This full-time position is based in Melaka Tengah, Melaka, and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the healthcare industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate and maintain our vehicles in a safe and responsible manner

2. Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities as required

3. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly stocked in the vehicle

4. Assist with loading and unloading patients, equipment, and supplies as needed

5. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and any incidents

6. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols

7. Collaborate with the medical team to provide the best possible care for our patients

What we're looking for

1. Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record

2. Experience driving emergency vehicles, such as ambulances, preferred

3. Knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff

5. Calm and composed under pressure, with the ability to respond quickly to emergencies

6. Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care

7. First aid certification or willingness to obtain it
