Ensure company vessels comply with international maritime regulations including:

• SOLAS

• MARPOL

• ISM Code

• ISPS Code

• MLC 2006

• Flag State and Port State requirements

Monitor validity and renewal of vessel certificates, permits, and statutory documents.

Liaise with classification societies, flag authorities, auditors, and clients on compliance matters.

Coordinate internal and external audits for vessels and shore management.

Prepare vessels for client inspections, marine assurance inspections, and vetting activities.

Monitor corrective actions and close-out findings from audits, inspections, and observations.

Maintain audit records and compliance documentation.

Maintain and improve company SMS procedures and manuals.

Ensure vessel crews are familiar with company procedures and compliance requirements.

Support implementation of risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and permit-to-work systems.

Monitor compliance with company HSE policies and operational procedures.

Investigate non-conformance reports, incidents, and compliance breaches.

Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Track and monitor close-out status of findings.

Coordinate compliance-related training for vessel crews and shore staff.

Conduct briefing sessions on SMS, HSE procedures, and regulatory updates.

Monitor crew certification and competency validity.

Maintain compliance database, vessel records, and reporting systems.

Prepare monthly compliance reports for management.

Monitor expiry dates for certificates, licenses, and inspections.
