About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Officer/Executive to join our team at Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd' in Rawang, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our internal audit processes across our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Understand and carry out the vision and mission of the Internal Audit function in all assigned duties.

2. Prepare and submit a monthly work plan within the stipulated timeline.

3. Conduct regular audit activities as planned, either independently or as part of a team.

4. Perform site visits, monitoring, and inspections as required and submit timely reports.

5. Complete audit assignments (local or overseas) within the agreed timeframe or as directed by management.

6. Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned and deliver reports within the required timeline.

7. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations.

8. Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely closure.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Field/Retail audit experience is an added advantage.
