The Role

We are seeking a high-calibre Analyst with a strong AI acumen to join our investment team. This role offers full exposure to the private equity lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence to AI transformation and value creation. 

The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, and passionate about leveraging AI to drive business outcomes. You will be deeply involved in understanding how AI adoption and digital transformation impact workflows, operational efficiency, revenue growth, and long-term business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build robust financial models, including AI transformation scenarios and valuation sensitivity analyses. 
• Support deal sourcing and screening, identifying companies aligned with our thesis. 
• Prepare  investment memoranda, LP decks, and strategic materials. 
• Conduct in-depth research into AI tools, workflows, and implementation opportunities across Southeast Asia’s mid-market businesses.
• Design and implement AI-driven initiatives to unlock revenue growth and improve commercial performance.
• Work closely with management teams to analyse operational workflows and identify areas for AI automation and optimisation.
• Build AI workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations using APIs and structured implementation tools.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong academic track record with First Class Honours in Finance, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Solid grasp of AI/LLM fundamentals, including how models are trained and applied.
• Comfortable working with AI tools at a technical level, including APIs and structured workflows.
• Previous experience in AI/data roles, automation, software engineering, or AI implementation projects is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think both strategically and operationally.
• Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership.
• Exceptional written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
