Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Human Resource, Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Event Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field. 
  • Able to communicate professionally in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Canva, ChatGPT, AI tools, or willing to learn. 
  • Organized, responsible, and able to follow instructions well. 
  • Proactive and willing to handle different types of tasks. 
  • Able to write simple emails, messages, and documents professionally. 
  • Comfortable communicating with external parties through email, phone calls, WhatsApp, or meetings. 
  • Creative enough to prepare simple posters and communication materials. 
  • Detail-oriented and able to keep records properly. 
  • Willing to assist with errands, events, fairs, expos, and coordination work when required. 
  • Possess own transport or willing to travel when needed would be an added advantage. 

Preferred Skills

  • Canva or basic design skills. 
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or other content/design tools. 
  • Basic social media content creation.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and versatile Admin & Communications Intern to support our team in daily administrative work, HR-related tasks, external liaison, research, event coordination, and simple creative content preparation.

This role is suitable for someone who is organized, resourceful, willing to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks. You will assist with paperwork, communication with external parties such as universities, government agencies, event organizers and vendors, as well as preparing posters and simple marketing materials using AI tools, Canva, or similar platforms.

You do not need to be a professional designer, but you should be willing to learn and use digital tools to create presentable materials based on company requirements.

Responsibilities

As an Admin & Communications Intern, your responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, documentation, filing, data entry, and paperwork. 
  • Support HR-related work such as interview scheduling, onboarding preparation, staff records, and internal coordination. 
  • Prepare simple posters, announcements, social media materials, and company communication materials using Canva, AI tools, or other design platforms. 
  • Liaise with external parties including universities, government agencies, vendors, fair/expo organizers, training providers, and collaboration partners. 
  • Research potential fairs, expos, university events, government programmes, grants, partnerships, and business opportunities. 
  • Assist in preparing letters, emails, proposals, forms, reports, and presentation materials. 
  • Help coordinate company events, career fairs, exhibitions, recruitment activities, and collaboration programmes. 
  • Support marketing and communication activities when needed. 
  • Act as a runner for office-related matters, document submission, event preparation, and other operational errands when required. 
  • Maintain proper records of contacts, leads, collaborations, event information, and follow-up actions. 
  • Perform any other administrative or operational tasks assigned by the company.
