As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Quality Assurance, Halal Compliance & Facilities Manager to support and strengthen our food safety, halal compliance, quality assurance, facilities and maintenance operations across the group; including Central Kitchen manufacturing operations and outlets. This role plays an important part in ensuring compliance with Malaysian food safety regulations, Halal certification requirements, operational standards, and maintenance practices while continuously driving improvements across the business.
Key responsibilities includes:
Quality Assurance & Food Safety
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across Central Kitchen and outlet operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and recognised systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO, Food Handling Practices, and Halal requirements.
- Conduct weekly and monthly QA audits, safety checks, outlet inspections, and supplier assessments.
- Investigate product complaints, food safety incidents, and operational non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation (CAPA).
- Compile audit findings, incident reports, QA documentation, and SMART action plans for management review.
Halal Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
- Support and manage Halal certification applications, renewals, surveillance audits, and compliance matters with JAKIM and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with the Halal Assurance System (HAS), including ingredient traceability, supplier verification, and segregation controls.
Facilities & Maintenance Management
- Support and oversee maintenance operations across offices, production facilities, outlets, and hostels to ensure all facilities are safe and well maintained.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, repair works, pest control management, and contractor servicing activities.
- Ensure utilities, infrastructure systems, and facility equipment are functioning effectively and comply with health and safety requirements.
Who we are looking for;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- Posses cerfification such as HACCP, GMP, Halal & any other related certifications
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Halal Compliance, or Facilities Management within F&B, Hospitality, Manufacturing, or Central Kitchen environments
- Experience handling Halal certification applications and audits with JAKIM or relevant authorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
