Role Description The Web Developer is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EPA’s websites and web applications to support communication, member services, and public outreach. Day-to-day tasks include building and updating front-end interfaces, implementing and optimizing back-end functionality, ensuring responsive and accessible design, and integrating third-party tools or services as needed. The Web Developer will collaborate with communications, membership, and leadership teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure that web platforms remain secure, reliable, and user-friendly. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, performing regular site maintenance and updates, and monitoring performance and analytics to improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Web Development and Programming, with the ability to build and maintain dynamic, data-driven web applications.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive layouts, usability, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side logic, databases, APIs, and integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools (e.g., Git) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to secure coding and data protection practices.
• Experience working with nonprofits, professional associations, or healthcare-related organizations is an advantage.
