Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and coordinating waterproofing works at site to ensure all activities are carried out according to project specifications, method statements, safetyrequirements and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

  • Supervise daily waterproofing works at site.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
  • Monitor progress of work and report site status to Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with main contractor, consultants and other subcontractors at site.

Work Planning & Coordination

  • Plan daily work activities and manpower allocation.
  • Arrange material delivery and ensure materials are sufficient for site works.
  • Coordinate equipment and tools required for waterproofing installation.

Quality Control

  • Ensure waterproofing installation complies with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspection before, during and after installation works.
  • Rectify defects and ensure proper workmanship.

Documentation

  • Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
  • Record manpower attendance and work activities.
  • Assist in preparing inspection request (IR), method statements and work submissions.

Safety Compliance

  • Ensure workers comply with site safety requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE during waterproofing works.
  • Material & Equipment Monitoring
  • Monitor usage of waterproofing materials.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials such as membranes, primers and sealants.
  • Maintain site tools and equipment in good condition.

Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of exposure and working experience as Site Engineer or equivalent.
  • Experience in Construction or related industries are strongly preferred.
  • General interest in waterproofing specialization.
  • Communicate effectively with Management and all other levels of employees.
  • Must be familiar and experts with computer systems and software's i.e. Microsoft, AutoCAD.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
