About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Murex System Analyst with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our core financial technology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional experienced in Murex Datamart, database management, and scripting to play a key role in supporting and enhancing critical Capital Markets and Treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

Murex Datamart Architecture: Design, develop, configure, and maintain Murex Datamart objects, including dynamic tables, feeders, filters, and extraction layouts for downstream consumption.

Database & Query Optimization: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views across Oracle and SQL Server 2012 environments to ensure seamless data flow and reporting efficiency.

Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Java to streamline system tasks, data extractions, and batch processing.

Environment Support: Work comfortably within a Linux environment to manage application servers, review logs, troubleshoot system bottlenecks, and handle production support escalations.

System Analysis: Analyze functional business requirements from Treasury, Risk, or Finance teams and translate them into robust technical specifications within Murex.

Testing & Deployment: Participate in end-to-end SDLC cycles, including writing test cases, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing deployment packages.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience working as a System Analyst, Data Analyst, or Developer explicitly within the Murex platform.

Core Technical Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Murex Datamart development and reporting configurations.

Database Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SQL alongside practical experience working with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 backends.

Programming & Scripting: Proven coding skills in Java and Python for backend automation or integration tasks.

Operating Systems: Solid command of Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, and basic server environment management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
