What you'll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain complex software control systems for automated industrial processes and machinery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into robust, scalable software solutions
• Implement advanced control algorithms, PLC programming, and SCADA/HMI development
• Troubleshoot and debug control system issues, providing timely and effective resolutions
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of software control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Document software control system architecture, configurations, and maintenance procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software control engineering

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software control engineering, preferably in the automation or manufacturing industry
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and SCADA/HMI development
• Strong understanding of control system architecture, including sensors, actuators, and communication protocols
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience in delivering projects on time and within budget

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
