About the role

Is seeking a talented and motivated Shipping Executive / Supervisor to join our team in Miri Division, Sarawak. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to contribute to the success of our growing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and overseeing the shipment of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to clients

• Liaising with logistics partners, carriers, and customs authorities to manage the import and export process

• Preparing and processing documentation, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and other shipping records

• Tracking and monitoring shipments, providing regular updates to clients on the status of their orders

• Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process

• Maintaining accurate records and data, and generating reports as required

• Providing support and guidance to the wider team, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the freight/cargo forwarding industry

• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and authorities

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

• Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology, such as logistics management systems and MS Office suite

• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the department
