We are a leading professional services firm specializing in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to international businesses.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Accounting professional with experience in accounting outsourcing to support and enhance service delivery for our global clients.

This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, advanced technical skills, and solid project coordination capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with team leads and managers to oversee accounting operations, review deliverables, identify process improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of digital solutions to drive efficiency and consistency across engagements.

This position is permanently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with the assigned clients (whatever their sector and size).

• Preparation, analysis, and review of the clients’ general accounting (suppliers, clients, accounting entries, provisions, prepayments, banks, fixed assets) on month-end and year-end closing.

• Preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the client.

• Preparation of the necessary documentation and information to compile and present the recurrent obligations of the clients.

• Support the preparation of clients’ management reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

• Support the preparation of annual accounts and official books.

• Support the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal accounting processes.

• Support in any of the functional areas defined in the department, depending on their skills.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants and accounting assistants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

• Assist in the training and development of team members, ensuring their continuous professional growth.

• Assist with ad-hoc tasks or matters assigned by the Superior.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finances or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) would be valued.

• At least 3 years working experience in accounting.

• Knowledge of SAP and Excel.

• Experience with IFRS and/or GAAP will be valued.

• Good oral and written communication in English, other languages would be an asset.

• Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Meticulous and conscientious with strong attention to detail.

• Able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Well-organised with a structured approach to work.

• Experience in team management.

• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
