We are a leading professional services firm specializing in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to international businesses.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Outsourcing Associate to support our Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in delivering mutli country accounting outsourcing services to our international clients
This role requires a solid foundation in finance and accounting, strong technical proficiency, and good coordination and communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and team members to execute day-to-day outsourcing activities for mutli country international clients, support process enhancements, and assist in the adoption of digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
This position will be permanently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Direct interaction with the assigned clients (whatever their sector and size).
Preparation, analysis, and review of the clients’ general accounting (suppliers, clients, accounting entries, provisions, prepayments, banks, fixed assets) on month-end and year-end closing.
Preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the client.
Preparation of the necessary documentation and information to compile and present the recurrent obligations of the clients.
Assist in the preparation of clients’ management reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Support the preparation of annual accounts and official books.
Support the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal accounting processes.
Support in any of the functional areas defined in the department.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks or matters assigned by the Superior
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finances or a related field. Postgraduate studies will be positively valued.
At least 1 year of working experience in accounting.
Good oral and written communication in English, other languages would be an asset.
Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary and international environment.
Meticulous and conscientious with strong attention to detail.
Able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Well-organised with a structured approach to work
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.E
Exposition to multi-cultural teams.
Knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP
