We are representing a well-established interior fit-out company specializing in premium hospitality, commercial, and high-end interior projects across Malaysia.

Due to business expansion and increasing project demands, the company is looking for a senior Head of Project to lead and oversee the overall project delivery function. This is a strategic leadership role created to strengthen the project management structure as the Managing Director transitions into a more business development-focused position.

The successful candidate will act as the key person overseeing the entire project team, ensuring smooth execution across multiple projects while managing and guiding the Project Managers and site teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the company’s overall project execution and operational delivery
  • Manage and supervise Project Managers, Site Construction teams, and overall project operations
  • Ensure all projects are delivered according to timeline, budget, quality, and client expectations
  • Monitor project progress, manpower planning, resource allocation, and project performance
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project team to improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with the Managing Director on project planning, business strategy, and operational matters
  • Act as the key escalation point for project-related issues, client matters, and site coordination challenges
  • Strengthen project management processes, reporting systems, and internal SOPs
  • Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Drive accountability, project standards, and team performance across all active projects


Requirements

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in construction/interior fit-out industry
  • Proven experience handling premium hospitality fit-out projects
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Background from Interior Fit-Out Contractor is highly preferred
  • Experience managing end-to-end project delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
