Automation Engineer

Job description

Reporting to consultant in:

·      Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of SCADA/PLC, Machine Vision and automation systems

·      Interpretation of control schematics and wiring diagrams in support of system design, integration, and commissioning activities

·      Co-ordination , work with sub-contractors on software/hardware development plans

·      Development/preparation and maintain documentation related to system configurations, test plans, and maintenance protocols.

Requirement

·      Working knowledge of PLC systems, industrial networking and architecture.

·      Familiar with Factory automation sensors and equipment such as Photo-electric, Inductive, Rotary encoders, Laser range finding sensors, LIDAR

·      Basic knowledge of  SCADA, IT networking, IP Cameras, NVRs, Electrical wiring , Machine vision, Robotics and motion control systems

·      Must be analytical and detailed.

·      Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly

·      Occasional overseas travel work assignments at customer site

Qualifications:

·      Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.

·      At least 1 year working experience in PLC and Automation systems.
