Driven – Strategic – Relationship Builder

As Key Account Manager in Indonesia, you own and grow relationships with Sarens’ most important clients across the heavy lifting and specialised transport sector. You identify new business, negotiate contracts and steer projects from first conversation through to flawless execution. By combining commercial leadership with technical insight, you help deliver engineered solutions that live up to our promise: Nothing Too Heavy, Nothing Too High.

Your job in a nutshell:

  • You manage and develop strategic key accounts within the heavy lifting and transport market.
  • You identify growth potential, lead commercial discussions and negotiate contracts.
  • You coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering and Planning teams to ensure safe, timely and cost‑effective project delivery.
  • You act as the main point of contact for key clients, monitoring satisfaction and strengthening long‑term partnerships.
  • You prepare forecasts, budgets and commercial reports for senior management.
  • You report directly to the Country Manager and collaborate closely with the regional commercial team.

ABOUT YOU

You are a commercial leader who combines technical understanding with strong relationship management. You work comfortably with autonomy, communicate with confidence and know how to turn complex lifting or transport challenges into clear, workable solutions.

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction, cranes or heavy equipment.
  • Proven experience in key account management or sales in heavy equipment, construction or industrial services.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent).
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Experience with contract management and budgeting.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
  • A valid driving licence.
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of the crane rental or heavy lifting industry.
  • Experience working with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Exposure to project‑based operational environments.
