Job Summary
The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all site activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company safety policies, client requirements, and local regulations. The role involves monitoring daily site operations, conducting safety inspections, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring workers comply with all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.
- Carry out routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure all workers are using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, permits, and records.
- Assist in incident and accident investigations and prepare reports accordingly.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters.
- Ensure all lifting activities, working at height, and high-risk activities are conducted safely.
- Monitor housekeeping and site cleanliness standards.
- Support implementation of risk assessments, method statements, and safe work procedures.
- Ensure compliance with DOSH requirements, client safety standards, and project safety plans.
- Stop unsafe work activities when necessary and report issues to management immediately.
- Assist in site audits and safety inspections by clients or authorities.
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project site.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel or work at different project sites when required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Possession of Yellow Book / Site Safety Supervisor certification is an added advantage
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
