Job Expected Results:

• To establish quality assurance programs and direction for improving departmental performance so that it is consistent with management objectives and policies.
• To drive QA and Operation department for continuous quality improvement toward quality excellence and customer satisfaction
• To Achieve Zero Defect Quality Product to Customer.
• To Achieve Zero defect on incoming Raw Material.
• Committed to have adequate protect on company Document and is available and suitable for use when it is needed.
• Committed to Zero Finding on Customer Quality Audit

Responsibilities:

• Manages department and overall expectations pertaining to set accurate schedules, costs, and resources.
• Ensures delivery against QA department goals and objective.
• Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development.
• Directly supervises quality assurance team lead, quality assurance engineers and testers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities.
• To attend customer enquiries related to quality issue, customer claim, customer return and coordinate customer and vendor audit. Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.
• Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams and maintains product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
• Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
• Manages and responds to software quality assurance issues with related groups such as development, database, integration, and customer support.
• Assures the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of essential tools.
• Manages the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
• Responsible and accountable for flagging the timing of interdepartmental deliverables and the quality of their output.
• To ensure Quality records such as WI/SOP are maintained and updated in compliance with the measurements of ISO9001 and/or another quality standards or certifications including being on committees with active participation in various activities mentioned therein.
• Responsible for any others related jobs directed or assigned by Superior when it is deemed necessary from time to time.

Qualifications, Experience, Skill, Abilities and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical or Material) or equivalent
• Associated experience in quality field with > 10 years related working experience.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, and environmental certification.
• Strong in knowledge of Sheet Metal work and Fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Knowledge in FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D problem solving.
• Able to interpret engineering drawing and GD&T.
• Working experience in IQC, IPQC, OQC, Calibration and related job functions.
• Computer literate must know how to use MS Excel & MS Word

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
