Adecco's client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Performance & Rewards Manager to lead and drive the organisation’s performance management, rewards, and job evaluation agenda across the business.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in performance and rewards management, coupled with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. This role will play a critical part in shaping a culture of accountability, performance differentiation, and reward clarity as the organisation continues to evolve and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, calibration exercises, performance ratings, and reward payouts
- Design, enhance, and govern performance and rewards frameworks to support organisational growth and evolving business needs
- Oversee job evaluation and job levelling governance to ensure consistency and integrity across the organisation’s job architecture
- Analyse performance and compensation data, translating findings into meaningful insights and recommendations for senior leadership decision-making
- Facilitate calibration discussions with senior stakeholders, driving alignment and ensuring fair and differentiated performance outcomes
- Advise leadership on compensation positioning, salary adjustments, and the broader talent implications of reward decisions
- Develop and present materials for senior management and Board-level committees, ensuring strong governance while maintaining clarity and business relevance
- Conduct scenario planning and reward modelling to evaluate the financial and organisational impact of reward-related decisions
- Review and assess contested job evaluation submissions, ensuring consistent application of job levelling methodologies across functions
- Drive initiatives that strengthen accountability, performance differentiation, and reward effectiveness across the organisation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing performance and rewards functions end-to-end within a medium to large organisation
- Strong understanding of compensation, rewards strategy, performance management frameworks, and job evaluation methodologies
- Demonstrated experience influencing and engaging senior leadership stakeholders using data, insights, and sound business judgement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex and sensitive decision-making scenarios
- Ability to balance governance, fairness, commercial realities, and employee experience in a fast-evolving environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in engaging senior management and executive stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing situations where there may not always be a clear or perfect solution
- Experience preparing materials for leadership committees, governance forums, or Board-level discussions would be advantageous
