Candidates may be assigned to different school locations based on operational needs
Role Overview
The appointed Discipline Support Officer (DSO) will work closely with school staff to support the Student Management (SM) team in strengthening school discipline and fostering positive student development through structured engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strengthen Daily Discipline & Supervision
Provide a consistent adult presence across the school through active campus supervision
Monitor student behaviour and ensure adherence to school rules
Support the implementation of daily routines to reinforce a positive school culture
2. Ensure Timely & Consistent Discipline Follow-Up
Document and process discipline cases accurately and promptly
Assist in conducting investigations into student-related incidents
Support disciplinary actions such as:
Detention
In-house suspension
Behavioral follow-ups
3. Promote a Culture of Care & Restorative Discipline
Balance discipline with student support and wellbeing
Guide students towards reflection and personal growth
Foster positive Teacher–Student Relationships (TSR)
Encourage restorative practices to rebuild trust and accountability
