Ambu A/S is currently looking for an Operation Engineer to be based in our manufacturing plant in Penang, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Update of product BOM and verification of costs.
• Initiate cost reduction initiatives via optimization processes, lean manufacturing, and automation.
• Strive for ongoing enhancement and the minimization of production waste by conducting regular analyses and applying effective strategies that foster operational excellence.
• Enhance waste reduction efforts through projects and value stream mapping.
• Create and assess systems aimed at minimizing or removing manual administration.
• Oversee 5S and visual management practices.
• Act as the label coordinator for the labelling system.
• Support the establishment of the system, such as the reporting process for machine downtime, by collaborating with different departments.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or equivalent.
• Have at least 2 years of related working experiences in lean manufacturing, advanced excel/power BI.
• Have strong communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English.
