Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Handyman to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in a data centre setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of non-critical facility systems, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
Install and repair electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and appliances.
Install drywall, repair holes and cracks, and prepare surfaces for painting.
Install flooring, including raised access floor and data centre floor tiles.
Perform exterior maintenance tasks such as landscaping, mowing .
Respond to customer service requests promptly and courteously, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
Proficient with power and hand tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Physical dexterity and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificate in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry (optional).
