Job Responsibilities :

Senior WSHO

• Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures

• Communicate Company's health and safety policy, objectives and procedures to all staff

• Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans

• Perform health and safety audits on sites

• Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel

• Maintain Company's health and safety statistics and records

• Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, apply factory permits and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites

• Investigate all accidents which occur and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence

• Inform Management of current site health & safety environment on all project sites

• Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters

• Ensure the OHS management programme are effectively implemented and maintained

• Promote awareness among staff, workers, contractors, suppliers and etc

• Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme
  

Senior ECO / ECMO

• Identify and communicate all relevant environmental requirements including legal requirements to all project staff

• Ensure all such requirements are included in the Environmental Control Programme for the project

• Ensure proper implementation of the Environmental Control Programme with periodic monitoring and measurements are conducted

• Ensure all monitoring and measurement records related to the Environmental Control Programme are properly maintained

• Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements

• Ensure that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with local laws

• Perform ECO duties as assigned

• Implement effective Earth Control Measures plan including erosion control and sediment control according to Qualified Erosion Control Professional design

• Supervise the Earth Control Measures plan to be implemented accordingly

• Devise Earth Control Measures plan operations

• Responsible for maintenance and inspection programme on site

• Assist Qualified Erosion Control Professional to monitor the effectiveness throughout various stages of construction

• Obtain the Clearance Certificate to commence works from Public Utilities Board by submitting the Earth Control Measures Plan, designed and endorsed by the Qualified Erosion Control Professional

• Install the Earth Control Measures on site according to the ECM Plan

• Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

Senior WSHO / ECO / ECMO

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in construction industry

• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

• Independent with good communication skills

• Familiar with Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental

• Certificate - Advanced Workplace Safety and Health level B

• Certificate - WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health level C

• Good communication skills, oral and written

• Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation

• Certificate - Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites

• Certificate - Earth Control Measure Officer

• Certificate - WSQ Manage Work At Height

• Certificate - WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites

• Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an added advantage

• Hands-on, detail oriented and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

• Positive attitude, team player and committed to continuous improvement

Working days and hours: Mondays to Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm at Resorts World Sentosa
