Job Details

Position: Emergency Vehicle Operator (Ambulance Driver)
Salary: RM1,800 – RM1,950
Working Days: 6 working days, 1 rest day on weekdays (alternate)
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (shift-based)
Location: No. 60G, Persiaran 65C, Perkeliling Business Center, 53000 Kuala Lumpur

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and disciplined Emergency Vehicle Operator to operate ambulances safely and efficiently during emergency and non-emergency medical calls.

In this role, you will ensure timely response, safe patient transport, and proper vehicle condition at all times.
This position is suitable for individuals who are calm under pressure, highly alert on the road, and committed to public safety.

Key Responsibilities

1) Operate ambulance and emergency vehicles safely during emergency and non-emergency calls
2) Respond promptly to dispatch instructions and follow assigned routes to ensure timely arrival
3) Ensure patient safety during transport by driving defensively and smoothly under emergency conditions
4) Assist paramedics and medical personnel with patient loading, unloading, and basic support when required
5) Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure ambulance cleanliness and roadworthiness
6) Monitor and maintain vehicle equipment and report mechanical issues immediately
7) Follow all emergency response protocols, traffic laws, and company SOPs at all times
8) Communicate clearly with dispatch, medical teams, and hospital staff during operations
9) Complete accurate trip logs, incident reports, and vehicle documentation after each assignment
10) Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure when dealing with patients, families, and the public

Requirements

1) Valid Malaysian driving license (Class D) — PSV or Ambulance Driving Permit is an advantage
2) Good driving record and familiar with Kuala Lumpur routes
3) Physically fit and able to assist with patient handling when required
4) Able to remain calm and focused under emergency situations
